Influenza/Flu Shots
Influenza (Seasonal Flu)
Simple colds can keep a person from performing well at school, work or other activities. The flu has an even bigger impact because you become much more sick and take longer to recover and feel healthy again.
One of the easiest ways to protect yourself from getting a cold or the flu is to wash your hands often and/or use a hand sanitizer frequently. Flu shots are another way to protect yourself and they are available at many places in our local area.
Below is a list of some of the locations where flu shots will be offered this fall and winter. In general, this vaccination is highly recommended for school-age children, people who have or work with infants (newborn to 6 months) or elderly people, and people having ongoing medical issues or problems.
